Request a Car for Someone Else: What to Write
The form describes the traveller, not you. Add their name and phone number to the notes, and send them the reply.
Jordan Airport Transfer2 min
You can request a car for someone else. The fields describe their flight, their address and the people who will ride, and their name and phone number go in the notes, because the driver calls the person at the airport, not the person who wrote the message.
| Field | Whose details |
|---|---|
| Pickup and destination | The traveller’s route |
| Date, time and flight number | The traveller’s flight |
| Passengers and luggage | The traveller’s party |
| Notes | The traveller’s name and phone number |
An example
A parent in another country books for an adult child who lands in Amman: the parent writes the child’s flight number and hotel, adds the child’s name and mobile number in the notes, and forwards the reply to the child. The child walks out to a meeting point already known.
Give the traveller the reply
The reply is the proof. Send it to the person who will land, so they hold the meeting point, the name of the driver and the number to call. Without it they would not know what to look for at the hall.
If the traveller speaks little English
Add the name of the hotel in Arabic as well as English to the notes, so the driver can show the line to a doorman if directions are needed. Put the traveller’s name as it appears on the passport, since that is the name a driver will read from a sign. Tell the traveller what the driver looks like if the reply says.
Who answers the driver
Choose one phone that will be on after landing and write it down. If the traveller has no roaming, add a second contact such as a hotel. Where to meet at Queen Alia describes the hall, and when a transfer is confirmed shows what the reply should contain. The whole form is in how booking works.
