Passengers and Luggage on a Queen Alia Transfer: Count Both
Count the people and the large bags separately. The two numbers together choose the car, and bags often limit it before seats do.
Jordan Airport Transfer2 min
Write two numbers on the request: how many people ride and how many large bags you carry. The two together choose the car, because a vehicle that holds five people may hold only three suitcases as well. Children who occupy a seat count as passengers.
| Group | What to write |
|---|---|
| Two adults, two cabin bags | 2 passengers, 0 large bags, 2 cabin bags in the notes |
| Family of four, six suitcases | 4 passengers, 6 large bags |
| Two adults, one child in a seat | 3 passengers, with a child seat in the notes |
| A group of six, one bag each | 6 passengers, 6 large bags |
What counts as a large bag
A large bag is one that goes in the boot: a suitcase, a big rucksack, a golf bag. Hand luggage that stays on your lap does not count, but a stroller or a wheelchair is worth a line in the notes because it takes space.
Why an estimate is not enough
Counting instead of guessing avoids the worst moment of an arrival: a car that cannot take your bags. If the number changes before you travel, send the new one in the same conversation, so the car is chosen for the group that will actually arrive.
A rule of thumb for big groups
Groups of five or more with one bag each are common, and they are exactly where a count beats a guess. Write the real number of bags and passengers, and if the group is larger than a normal car you will hear it in the reply rather than at the airport.
Children and sizes
Children are written as passengers, and the age belongs in the notes next to the child seat. Children count as passengers goes through the cases, and luggage on a long transfer covers what changes when the road is long. The whole form is in how booking works.

Do babies count as passengers?
A baby who needs a seat or a carrier counts. Write the child’s age and ask for a child seat in the notes.
Do cabin bags count?
Count only bags that go in the boot. Mention a stroller or a wheelchair in the notes.
What if my group grows?
Send the new number in the same conversation before you travel.
Why do bags matter as much as people?
Because the boot, not the seats, is often what limits a car.
