The date is the day this ride takes place. For an arrival, that is the landing day, not the day you left home.

Type the day the ride takes place. For an arrival that is the day you land, which can be the day after you took off. For a ride to the airport it is the day of the flight or the day you leave your hotel, whichever the pickup falls on.

The midnight case
A late flight is where this goes wrong. A passenger who writes the date of departure for a landing after midnight asks for a car on the wrong day, and the driver may wait at the hall a day early. Check the arrival date printed on the ticket, not the departure date.
One date, one ride
The field holds the date of this ride only. A trip home on another morning is a new request with its own date, as is a second hotel on another day. One drop-off per request explains the split, and the time on the transfer request covers the field beside it.
Write the month as a word
Dates read differently around the world: 04/03 is 4 March in one country and 3 April in another. Write the month as a word, such as 4 March, so that you, the reply and the driver all read the same day. A date typed in a hurry on a phone is where most wrong-day requests begin, and the cure takes two seconds.
A check before you send
