An Airport Hotel or a City Hotel: Which Fits Your Arrival

An airport hotel and a city hotel are different drop-offs. A hotel near Queen Alia saves the drive into Amman, which is about 30 to 50 minutes; a hotel in Amman puts you near the city. Choose by when you land, when you fly out and how you want the first day to run.

When the airport hotel fits

A hotel near the airport suits a landing after midnight, a flight that leaves at dawn or a short transit overnight. You spend less time on the road and are close to the terminal in the morning. It gives you less of the city, so it works best for a night rather than a stay.

When the city hotel fits

A hotel in Amman suits a stay of more than a night, a day of sights and meals, or an arrival in the daytime. The drive of 30 to 50 minutes is the cost of being in the city. For the departure day, work back from your flight, as in a car to Queen Alia for your flight.

Writing either one on the request

Write the hotel name exactly as booked and the area, as in an Amman hotel as your airport drop-off. If the airport is the pickup for the hotel booked near it, write Queen Alia as the pickup.

A mixed plan
